OneDrive - Sharing a File or Folder in Windows

You must have a OneDrive account setup on your computer in order to share files and folders through OneDrive.

1) Open your OneDrive folder in File Explorer and locate the file or folder you want to share.
2) Right-click the file or folder and select Share from the context menu (In Windows 11 you will choose 'OneDrive' and then 'Share').
3) Choose who you would like the link to work for, such as Anyone with the link, People in your organization, or Specific people. Select Apply if needed.

4) Select Copy link to copy the link to your clipboard. You can then paste it in an email, a message, or another app to share it with someone.
5) Alternatively, you can select Email to open your default email app and send the link directly to someone.
